What does the disease statistics show?

In 2021, more than 1.5 million new HIV cases were detected worldwide.
And in Kazakhstan, in the half year of 2022, 1981 new cases of HIV infection were registered.
Of these, 40% of those infected in Kazakhstan are women, 60% are men.

The statistics are not encouraging, but there is good news:

HIV treatment with antiretroviral therapy is available FREE of CHARGE to every citizen of Kazakhstan.

A person undergoing antiretroviral therapy can live a full, long life and does not endanger partners.
