Stroke is a violation of the blood circulation of the brain. In stroke, brain tissue is damaged and its function is disrupted.
The main symptoms of stroke:
• severe headache
• nausea, vomiting
• loss of consciousness
• impaired coordination, loss of balance
• weakness in the limbs
• visual impairment
• speech impairment
• impaired sensitivity of one half of the body
According to statistics from the Ministry of Healthcare, there are more than 40 thousand cases of stroke in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Of them:
5 thousand die in the first 10 days
5 thousand within 1 month
More than 60% remain disabled
Also, stroke occurs between the ages of 18 and 50
What should I do to avoid a stroke?
How to prevent stroke?
Monitor blood pressure
Do not smoke/ Quit smoking
Do not drink alcohol often
Do sports, physical activity
Eat foods that are low in salt and fat
If you have diabetes, follow the instructions of your attending physician
Examine for a heart rhythm disorder
Regularly monitor the blood test level.
Specifically:
apolipoprotein a1 and B;
homocysteine;
With protein cardio;
glucose;
glycosylated hemoglobin.
