Pre-eclampsia is a common complication of pregnancy. When it occurs, the risk of premature birth increases. It occurs in about 1 out of 10 pregnant women and threatens the health of the mother and child.

Pre-eclampsia risk markers can be taken from the 20th week of pregnancy.
