OLYMP CDL has implemented the innovative complex "Florocenosis"
OLYMP CDL is the only laboratory in Kazakhstan where the unique "Florocenosis" complex is available, which is the result of many years of cooperation between practicing laboratory assistants, microbiologists, gynaecologists and venereologists. "Florocenosis" is a group of analysis based on high-precision PCR diagnostics in real time, which makes it possible to diagnose 5 main forms of urogenital infections in a qualitative and quantitative format:
STD: gonococcal, chlamydial and Mycoplasma genitalium infection; urogenital trichomoniasis.
Vulvovaginal candidiasis ("thrush"): clinically significant candida species are C. albicans, C. glabrata, C. krusei, C. parapsilosis/C. tropicalis.
Bacterial vaginosis: a condition in which the natural lactobra is suppressed by other microflora (Bacteria spp, Gardnerella vaginalis, Atopobium vaginae).
Aerobic vaginitis: predominance of aerobes (Enterobacteriaceae, Streptococcus spp. Staphylococcus spp.) against the background of a decrease in "useful" lactobacilli.
Mycoplasma infection is an infection associated with opportunistic mycoplasmas and ureaplasmas, which may be present in small amounts in the flora: Ureaplasma parvum, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Mycoplasma hominis
Attention! "Florocenosis" analysis are available only in the OLYMP CDL. The biomaterial under study is a vaginal swab. You can find out the addresses of treatment rooms here and in the contact center (59-79-59, 259-79-59).
