BackIn Almaty, the completion time for PCR for COVID-19 increases to 2-3 days
Friends, from August 1-8, 2021, we will work on the modernization of our PCR laboratory in Almaty.
We have purchased additional equipment to expand the capacity of this laboratory. Installation, adjustment of equipment, and reconstruction of the premises in total will take a week of time. These works will be carried out at night. In this regard, our PCR laboratory in Almaty is temporarily switching from round-the-clock mode to a daytime work schedule.
For this reason, the completion time of the PCR test on COVID-19 in Almaty increases from 1 day to 2-3 days.
The accelerated PCR test for COVID-19, as well as the accelerated profile for COVID-19: PCR plus ECL in Almaty, will temporarily not be performed.
Also, from 1 day to 2-3 days, the completion time of PCR tests for Epstein-Barr virus (HSV-IV), STIs, hepatitis B, C, D, and fetal sex determination (SRY gene) in the mother's blood by molecular genetic method increases.
Restrictions on the work of the PCR laboratory in Almaty will last from August 1 to August 8, 2021.
Starting from August 9, the laboratory will resume its regular mode.
Please show understanding to the time restrictions ! Our goal is to become even better for the benefit of our customers. All other PCR laboratories of the OLYMP CDL in Kazakhstan work as usual.
