Paternity/maternity testing (trio). Medicolegal proceeding.
Molecular genetic expertise to establish biological kinship (paternity/maternity), performed by court order:
This expertise is necessary in court proceedings to contest paternity/maternity to a child when a judge cannot make a decision without additional DNA parentage testing.
The test is based on the comparison of DNA profiles of the child and the presumed parent with the registration of all necessary documents (protocol of biomaterial sampling, photofixation of the sampling, the sampling of biomaterial is carried out in the presence of witnesses with sealing of envelopes with biomaterial).
The expertise is assigned to the address of a certain laboratory with the address, date and time of biomaterial collection, the data of all participants of the expertise and witnesses are specified, the biomaterial collection is carried out in the presence of the bailiff.
The result of the examination is sent strictly to the address of the judge who appointed the examination, preliminary results of the examination are not announced and are not available in the patient's personal cabinet.
As part of this examination, biomaterial sampling is carried out from the mother, child and prospective father (unconditional parent + child + prospective parent).
Contesting kinship in court:
If the result is positive (establishment of kinship), the reliability is 99.9%.
With the exception of kinship – 100%.
