Tests for suspected viral hepatitis
- presence of symptoms (weakness, nausea, pain in the right upper quadrant, dark urine, yellowing of the skin and mucous membranes);
- acute or chronic changes in liver biochemical parameters (increased ALT, AST, bilirubin).
Preventive screening
- when planning a pregnancy and during pregnancy;
- when preparing for surgery;
- when registering for a medical certificate or hospitalization.
At increased risk of infection
- healthcare workers and laboratory staff;
- patients receiving blood transfusions or hemodialysis;
- individuals who inject drugs;
- individuals with tattoos, piercings, or manicures without
- guaranteed sterility;
- individuals who engage in unprotected sexual intercourse or frequently change partners.
Health monitoring
- individuals with already diagnosed liver diseases (steatosis, cirrhosis, alcoholic liver disease);
- for virus carriers for dynamic control;
- for persons living with a patient
- with a confirmed diagnosis of hepatitis
- for family members and relatives who are in contact with a person with a confirmed diagnosis of hepatitis
- for persons living with patients who have been diagnosed with hepatitis
