You need to know this if you are going for treatment abroad.

Sometimes wealthy citizens of Kazakhstan prefer foreign countries, such as Germany, Israel, Korea or others, when choosing a clinic for treatment. The combination of a high level of qualification of doctors, an internationally recognized healthcare system and modern medical equipment makes treatment abroad so attractive for our patients.

So, if you have already visited foreign clinics and now the question of a repeat trip arises, or you are just going to go abroad, then we have prepared an article especially for you in which we would like to reveal several nuances about laboratory diagnostics that those who go abroad for treatment should know.

To date, diagnosis is almost impossible without preliminary laboratory tests. Foreign clinics are no exception, and before a doctor diagnoses you and prescribes treatment, he must necessarily familiarize himself with the results of laboratory and instrumental analysis methods.

So, you need to pass certain tests, without which it is impossible to prescribe adequate treatment. What options do you have? The first option is to get tested in the same place - in a foreign clinic. Of the advantages, it is worth noting the same as for all foreign medicine in general: modern medical equipment and qualified personnel. But there are also disadvantages here. Firstly, the cost of analysis abroad is much more expensive. Secondly, research is not made instantly, that is, you will have to wait from 1 to 3 extra days abroad, which again translates into unnecessary expenses. That is, with the first option, you lose extra resources: time and money. But there is also a second scenario – to take tests in Kazakhstan, and with the results ready to go abroad. This way you can significantly save your time and money.

But how to choose the right laboratory? What will a foreign doctor pay attention to? Of course, the most important thing for treatment is the accuracy of the analysis made. After all, incorrect analysis results can eventually hit your wallet and health hard. Therefore, before going to the laboratory, pay attention to its licensing, quality certificates and pay special attention to accreditation, which directly testifies to the quality of the analysis made. Be attentive and careful, because a lot depends on your choice.

In summary, before traveling abroad, you can undergo the necessary tests in Kazakhstan in advance – this will save you time and money. Before going to the laboratory, carefully analyze all the options, pay special attention to accreditation – it testifies to the quality and analysis in progress

The first and only, at the moment, among the medical laboratories in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has received international recognition, was the clinical laboratory OLYMP of the branch office of "MYRZAKHAN" LLP, which passed the expert assessment of the Slovak National Accreditation Service - an authoritative European member of the International Association of Accredited Laboratories - ILAC, and received an ISO Accreditation Certificate 15189:2012.

In simple terms, obtaining accreditation according to the ISO 15189:2012 standard means that the accuracy of analysis in our laboratory is beyond doubt among the world community, and after undergoing an examination at the OLYMP CDL, you can safely contact any clinic in the world - your test results will be valid. We already have considerable experience – our patients have repeatedly applied with the results of examinations to foreign clinics, and they did not cause any complaints from foreign doctors. Before flying abroad to prescribe or monitor treatment, you can undergo tests in Olymp in advance, thereby saving time and money.

It is worth mentioning separately that thanks to the partnership agreement between OLYMP CDL and the leading German laboratories Synlab and Limbach, it is possible for our patients to made rare tests that are currently unavailable in Kazakhstan. Now such technological research does not require trips to Germany or other foreign countries: it is enough to contact any of the treatment rooms of the OLYMP CDL, of which there are more than 180 in Kazakhstan.
