Spermogramm is a laboratory analysis of seminal fluid designed to assess a man's ability to conceive a child.

The test can determine:

  • The number of spermatozoa in the ejaculate
  • Their motility

The following analyses are available at the OLYMP CDL laboratory in Atyrau:

How to take the test:

Some of the possible abnormalities in Spermogramm results include:

  • Asthenozoospermia: reduced sperm motility
  • Leukocytospermia: heightened white blood cell count, indicating an inflammatory process
  • Hematospersmia: presence of blood in the semen, a possible sign of trauma or infection
  • Pyospermia: presence of pus in the semen, associated with inflammation
