Florocenos NCMT (Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma genitalium, Trichomonas vaginalis)

Florocenosis NCMT - comprehensive Real-time PCR-based diagnosis of clinically significant pathogenic agents of sexually transmitted infections. NCMT is an abbreviation of four microorganisms:

  • Neisseria gonorrhoeae (gonorrhea)
  • Chlamydia trachomatis (chlamydia)
  • Mycoplasma genitalium (mycoplasmosis)
  • Trichomonas vaginalis (trichomoniasis)

These microorganisms are grouped together because they should not be present in the normal microflora of a healthy urogenital tract, unlike Ureaplasma (U.species), Gardnerella (G. vaginalis), Candida (C. albicans) and Mycoplasma hominis (M.hominis), whose presence in small quantities is acceptable. The detection of NCMT infection in the scrape is a direct indication for medical treatment, regardless of the presence of complaints or symptoms.

The initial diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections requires one-step detection of all likely pathogens at once; an incomplete spectrum is unacceptable. This is due to the fact that each microorganism is destroyed by a specific antibiotic: there is no universal treatment method suitable for all pathogens at once!

NCMT Florocenosis has successfully passed the clinical trial relative to the CDC* reference test, and even outperformed it in some parameters. In general, the sensitivity and reliability of the test is 99%, which is significantly higher than other methods (ELISA, DIF).

Another undeniable quality of the analysis is its low price, in comparison with similar PCR methods for detecting individual pathogens.

The danger of STDs lies in the high probability of complications: infertility, transmission of infection to newborns, severe suppurative processes in the pelvis or the addition of a number of nonspecific inflammatory diseases. For example, in women it could be?

Vulvovaginal candidiasis
Opportunistic mycoplasmosis and ureaplasmosis
Bacterial vaginosis
Aerobic vaginitis

These diseases belong to the category of those diseases that can turn into chronic forms and accompany women for years, since the slightest hypothermia leads to an exacerbation of the infectious process.

The NCMT Phlorocenosis test is primarily indicated in the presence of the most probable symptoms of genital infections:

  • Discharge from the genitals
  • Itching in the genital area
  • Pain in the lower abdomen
  • Pain during sexual contact
  • Pain during urinating
