Sampling for microbiological examination (jar)
Microbiological studies make it possible to confirm or refute the presence of pathogens of infectious diseases in the body with a high degree of accuracy and reliability. Also, such an analysis is an effective way to identify the level of sensitivity of isolated microorganisms to antibiotics. The material for the tests is urine. In order to ensure the accuracy of the obtained results , microbiological analysis methods attach great importance to the issues of correct and timely sampling of material for test.
Rules for preparing for urine sampling:
For the reliability of the analysis, it is necessary to purchase a special container for sampling urine from the OLYMP CDL;
The day before the test, you can not eat foods that change the color of urine (beets, carrots, cherries, candies with colored glaze);
Before sampling the material for test, thorough hygienic toilet of the external genitalia is necessary, since bacteria and "old" cells can get into the urine from them, which leads to false test results;
The first morning urine is given, while the very first portions are drained into the toilet;
After filling (on average 50ml), the container is tightly closed with a lid;
Deliver the material to the treatment room within 2 hours, while avoiding freezing of the biomaterial;
Women are not recommended to take urine tests during the menstrual cycle.
