Gelatin bovine, c74

Gelatin is widely used in food, medication and devices. It is used in plasma substitutes and in vaccines. It is also used in photoemulsions, adhesives, matches, cosmetics and more.
Immediate IgE-mediated reactions have been reported, as well as systemic reactions and anaphylaxis. Allergic reactions to live vaccines containing gelatin are increasingly being reported. Reports of reactions to plasma substitutes also raise concerns about the use of gelatin-containing products. Allergic reactions to chewing gums, marshmallows and "gelatin of any kind" have also been reported.
