"Bloody work" or what kind of tests an athlete needs
It just so happens that fitness and sports at the amateur level in our country are still not so developed and popular, and despite the growing promotion of a healthy lifestyle and sports, amateur athletes traditionally know little about themselves, their health and the body. And if there are specialists in the professional environment – coaches, sports doctors who monitor the athlete's health and are always ready to help. Then for amateurs, those who do sports "for themselves", things are much worse with this. It is generally believed that sport strengthens and heals, and this is absolutely true, but only if you practice it correctly. There are many factors and reasons that affect whether classes will benefit you or harm you. Among them: technique, frequency and intensity of training, as well as your physical condition at a given time. A trainer will help you figure out what is related to training, but the so–called "bloody work" will help you figure out the physical conditions, which is sometimes called a blood test in English - "blood work". Most of those who are reading this article now are talking in the mood of: "What other tests? I'm not complaining about anything! Why do i waste money and time?" The answer is one: "You definitely need it if you want to be healthy." Even if there are no complaints now, this does not mean that you are healthy. The problem may manifest itself after a while, but it may be too late.
If you don't want it to be excruciatingly bad later, take care of your health now.
Which tests are especially important for athletes? Regardless of whether you are just planning to start training, or have been practicing for a long time, special attention should be paid to the activities of the following organs and systems: musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular, nervous and endocrine systems, liver and kidneys. This will help you evaluate a number of biochemical parameters, for example: cholesterol, calcium, phosphorus, testosterone ALT, AST, bilirubin, etc. Without going into details, we note that each of these analyses reflects the condition of a particular organ. There are a large number of analysis, and a doctor can help you not get confused in them, who will assess your condition and prescribe exactly the tests that are necessary. Also, an experienced specialist, based on the tests you have submitted, can, for example, prohibit weight lifting, or allow it, but only under certain conditions; prescribe a diet or medications; give general recommendations.
